Two-way traffic crosses a one-way road

Two-way traffic crosses one-way road

What does this sign mean?

This sign warns that a two-way road crosses the one-way road you are on, so vehicles may come from both directions across your path. It usually appears in town centres where a one-way system meets an ordinary street. Approach the junction ready to look both ways even though your own road carries traffic in a single direction. Candidates often confuse it with the plain two-way traffic sign, so note that the arrows here cross the road rather than run along it.
