Warning signs
T-junction with priority over vehicles from the right
What does this sign mean?
This sign shows a T-junction where the wider bar marks the road with priority, telling you that traffic from the right must give way to you. It is used where the layout is not obvious and drivers might otherwise assume they have to yield. Keep your speed sensible and stay alert even though the priority is yours, because the emerging driver may not have read the signs. Theory test questions use it to check you can read priority from the thickness of the bars rather than guessing.
