Trams only

What does this sign mean?

The road or lane beyond this sign is reserved for trams, and other vehicles must not enter it. Tram-only sections are found in city centres where the tramway shares the street layout but not the running surface. Never drive onto the reserved route, even to pass a queue or make a turn, because a tram cannot steer around an obstruction. Tram restrictions are a recurring theory test topic in the sections on trams and other road users.
