No buses (over 8 passenger seats

What does this sign mean?

Buses with more than eight passenger seats must not proceed beyond this sign. It is used on roads unsuitable for large passenger vehicles, such as narrow lanes, weak bridges and residential streets. Bus and coach drivers must follow the signed alternative route, and other drivers should read it as a hint that the road ahead is tight. It belongs to the family of vehicle-specific prohibitions that the theory test uses to check you can identify which vehicle a symbol represents.
