Road markings

Single kerb mark: no loading during the times shown

No loading or unloading at the times shown

What does this road marking mean?

One short yellow mark on the kerb, prohibiting loading and unloading during the times on the nearby black and white plate. It is the loading equivalent of a single yellow line, and like it says nothing about hours on its own. Delivery drivers are the group most often caught out, since a road may permit waiting while restricting the loading they need to do. Stopping to let passengers in or out remains permitted.
