Road markings
Red Route: no stopping during the times shown
What does this road marking mean?
The sign that gives a single red line its hours, in the same way a plate gives a single yellow line its hours. Single red lines apply only during the posted times, and outside them the restriction lifts. Because the times vary from street to street on the same route, the sign has to be read each time rather than assumed. The line itself never carries the hours.
