Road markings
Red Route: loading exception sign
Red Route: no stopping except loading during the times shown
What does this road marking mean?
A sign showing that an otherwise no-stopping length of Red Route allows loading during a stated window, usually between the morning and evening peaks. The exception is narrow: it covers loading and unloading only, for the maximum duration shown, and not waiting for any other reason. Sitting in the vehicle outside those terms is still stopping. The trolley symbol marks the sign as a loading provision rather than a parking one.
