Road markings

No loading during the times shown

What does this road marking mean?

The plate that gives single kerb marks their hours, prohibiting loading and unloading during the stated periods only. If no days appear on the plate the restriction runs every day, including Sundays and Bank Holidays. Outside the posted hours loading is permitted, subject to any waiting restriction on the lines beside the kerb. As with all loading controls, the plate rather than the paint carries the detail.
