What does this road marking mean?

A marked box on a Red Route reserved for loading and unloading at the times shown on the adjacent sign, up to a stated maximum duration. As with parking boxes, a red box is available for only part of the day and a white box throughout it. The bay may not be used for ordinary parking even when it is empty and the hours are running. Loading has to be genuine and continuous rather than a pretext for waiting.
