What does this sign mean?

Green direction signs mark primary routes, the main roads between major towns, with place names in white and route numbers in yellow. This one stands at the junction itself and points along each available road. By the time you reach it you should already be in the correct lane, having read the advance sign further back. The colour coding of green primary routes against white local roads is one of the most frequently tested facts in the road signs section.
