What does this sign mean?
This blue advance sign appears before a motorway junction and shows the destinations for each exit, with the junction number on a black patch. It gives you the distance and the layout while there is still time to change lanes safely. Move left in stages, checking mirrors and blind spots, rather than crossing several lanes at once near the exit. Motorway lane discipline and early positioning for an exit are staples of theory test motorway questions.
