What does this vehicle marking mean?

A diamond plate showing liquid attacking a hand and a surface, identifying a corrosive substance. A spillage is dangerous to touch and to breathe near, and it can damage the road surface and drainage as well as people. Keep clear of any liquid running from a vehicle displaying this plate, however dilute it appears. Warn other road users and let the emergency services handle the material.
